Groundnut decorticator has a shelling capacity of 400 kg per hour. It is operated by 2 hp motor which is mounted on the machine itself. It has a special provision of preparing whole groundnut kernels for sowing without damaging the seeds. So it has a shaker screen at the bottom to separate out broken and split kernels. Husks are also blown away by in built blower which has a special arrangement for regulating air flow. Half round screen made of flat bars and washers to increase or decrease the gap to adjust various varieties of groundnuts. So this is one of the best decorticator.
